Suha Arraf obtained unprecedented access to three women who are active members of the organization in Gaza; shining a light on the work of those who spend their life in the shadows.
She worked as an investigator for Betzelem, the Israeli organization for the protection of human rights in the Territories, and then as a TV presenter. Following this, she became an investigative reporter and producer. Suha wrote for the daily Ha'aretz newspaper, and was a researcher/producer for several international TV networks.
In addition to her work as documentary film director, Suha has written three feature dramas. Two of these, The Syrian Bride and The Lemon Tree (both directed by Eran Riklis) received significant international acclaim. Suha was nominated by the European Academy for Best Script.
