About a hundred adolescents immigrate to Israel all alone from the former USSR. Within 9 months, in a reckless atmosphere, they are supposed to transform from "Russians" to "Israelis". They live a happy-go-lucky life, despite the rigid structure all around them, surrounded by a wall, protected by surveillance cameras and a locked gate. Filmmaker Vitali Krivich followed a group of these young immigrants aged 17-21, over the course of a year. This film follows their changing lives, and sees them in moments of joy and sorrow, camaraderie and loneliness, hope and disillusion.
